The Radio School is a nationally recognised radio broadcasting school in the UK, offering varied 1 to 1 Radio Training Courses for the presentation and production of professional radio. We're now based in Staplehurst Kent (UK). We're close to London with excellent road and rail links to the rest of the UK and mainland Europe. Our courses are used by both newcomers and established presenters and deejays too. If you want a career in radio, the Radio School will assist you in learning presentation styles, techniques and production values. All ages are welcome and we also accept students from around the globe wishing to learn radio production and presentation in the UK. Rod Lucas is the founder of The Radio School and has an impressive record of getting people into radio through his 1 to 1 training and coaching.

We provide on going help guidance and advice on marketing your presentation skills and demo after completing you radio presenter coaching. This is our commitment to all who attend our courses and radio training. We specialise in 'Personality Radio' training & coaching. The Radio School provides three main different courses: Core One (3 levels) for beginners that have no technical or radio presentation experience: Core Two (3 levels) designed for those with limited radio experience and who want to move on. Radio Presenter Coaching

All our course tutors have much experience in British radio and are led by senior trainer and Radio Coach Rod Lucas, a Sony Radio award winning presenter/producer. Rod has over 35 years professional broadcast experience in National and local radio, both commercial and BBC. Rod can be heard on National and local radio all over the world. See Rod's website here. Rod Lucas is a Programme Consultant to various radio stations. He's the Programme Director for Fusion Radio and in August 2008 was appointed a Director for Valley Radio & TV in Spain, broadcasting to millions of British expats and holiday makers in southern Spain. So he knows what he's talking about. You may be invited to sit in on one of Rod's "live" radio programmes too, some from the UK. Our National broadcasting school is designed for 1 to1 presenter training and coaching. Rod is often approached by stations looking for presenters who wish to use his trainees. Our radio presenter courses are planned around your own individual needs. The Radio School provides dedicated 1 to 1 tuition so there's lots of time to spend on training you and not a whole class. Leandra completed a Core 1 Training Course. She also completed a voice-over course with us too.
