brilliant day down in Kent.
I'm thrilled to bits with

"Having
spent the past three years away from radio, raising my
children, I felt that I really needed a new demo as well
as a bit of time in the studio as a 'refresher' and to
boost my confidence. I felt sure that the Radio School
was what I needed. I was a little apprehensive but Rod
made me feel comfortable and relaxed straight away,
giving me some great tips and ideas to move me from
where I am onto the next level as a radio presenter. I
believe his career advise will be invaluable. Before
long, I was recording in the studio, feeling right at
home. Wow-time flew by. But Rod was precise, knowing
what would work and what would not and with his
knowledge and experience, I was able to leave with two
excellent demo's as well as some invaluable career
advice" Jo Miller 2010.

“A bit
like competing as a horse in the Grand National; you charge
full speed ahead, have a few stumbles but make it to the end
in one piece, Rod Lucas cracking the whip and pushing all
the way!! This is tempered with great food, chat and advice
from the library of experience that rocks around in Rod
Lucas. There’s a great buzz to be had and it’s impossible

What students say about our Radio
Presenter Training and how we help get people into real radio jobs.
"I
would happily recommend Rod Lucas and the Radio School. Before
attending a Radio Presenting Training Course with Rod I had no
radio experience. Expect a warm welcome and some intense
training. I left with a demo which as a result I was offered a
full time show within two months on 2 stations. Since then I now present my
own show for one of the largest groups of stations in UK. I
still send air checks to Rod to get some feedback.“
1 day intensive Radio Presenter
training Course is £350 (No Vat). Weekend
Radio Presentation, Production & DJ courses are
also available. For beginners we
recommend 2 & 3 day radio training courses. 2
days £650 & 3 days £950 (No Vat).
Former Radio School

"After doing a 3 day
course in January I presented on a couple of
community radio stations and then joined Bolton FM
doing some weekend programming. In January 2010 I
was asked to co-host the Breakfast programme on the
station. Which I loved". Thank you Rod for all
your help and encouragement at The Radio School. I never thought I
would get this far. Look forward to seeing you again
for some more training.
